Today is Giving Tuesday, so we thought it would be appropriate to share some of our team’s favorite ways to give back. These organizations and efforts are near and dear to our hearts. And while we are in still basking in the Thanksgiving spirit of gratitude, we encourage you to share your bounty with others, for the greater good.

Give Back Wherever You Are

With team members in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, California, Hawaii and Florida, we support causes all over the country! Here are the organizations and places we have donated our time and resources to this year:

  1. Churches — We contribute to local churches in our various communities, who then do outreach to their surrounding area residents and give back in the form of meals, transportation, education and support.
  1. Maui/Lahaina Donations — The Hawaii Community Foundation started a Maui Strong Fund. It supports residents affected by the wildfires in Lahaina, Pulehu/Kīhei and Upcountry areas. Donations can be made to the Hawaii Community Foundation.
  1. DFW Lab Rescue — Some of us give back to our furry friends through the Dallas Fort Worth Labrador Retriever Rescue Club. We are donating, fostering, volunteering and adopting these lovable, deserving animals. Join us!
  1. Promoting Youth Cycling — We love supporting youth cycling groups in our neighborhoods. First, these programs promote healthy habits. And second, they build leadership and independence through the sport of cycling.
  1. Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo — The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo has awarded more than $575 million in scholarships to the youth of Texas. We enthusiastically support this educational fund and share in this commitment to Texas kids.
  1. National Charity League – This organization is built from mothers and daughters serving communities together. And one of our team members is even a National Centennial Philanthropy Co-Chair. National Charity League members give back nearly 3 million hours to over 6,000 charities nationwide.
  1. Denver Women in Business for Good (Grapevine) — This grassroots group helps women business leaders in Denver build connections. They seek to enrich their professional and personal lives while doing good for the greater community.
  1. Denver Rescue Mission — The Denver Rescue Mission gives back to the most vulnerable in the community. This organization aims to create lasting change in the lives of homeless men, women and children in Denver with the support of the community.
  1. Humane Society of Tampa Bay — What can we say, we love pets! So we love supporting The Humane Society of Tampa Bay. They provide shelter for homeless and at-risk animals, adoptions, hospital and TNVR services for the general public.

You Can Make a Difference

Wherever your passion for helping your community lies, we encourage you this holiday season to give back and help others where you can. After all, we can work together for the greater good and make a difference.
